Is there some specific problem you're working on? I may be able to provide some ideas.

No problem. I'm a pretty straight talker also. I get slot of crap pretty often when people think I'm attacking them when I'm just discussing. I don't think people should worry about being attacked, they should spend an extra minute to listen to what is being said.

I am going through a multiplex of items right now. Just moved from AZ so I can have my kids taught better so I can put more effort into doing things in local and outs communities. I want to be a good roll model. I want to learn about problems and ways those problems can be fixed. My hands have always been really tied. Things are a bit hectic though as we are in temp housing, I can only do so much for now. But I can learn and talk. I figure every start is a good start as long as one doesn't give up.

Lots of things that are much better for you should be cheaper. Sad

At least in comparison to the crap. I'd love to be able to eat a wider variety of more healthful things, and we do the best we can. Around here, it's hard to even FIND actual good food.

'Round these parts a lot of folks think that eating healthy is "elitist" or "socialist".

Wink

My reason for being is to serve as a cat cushion. That is good enough for me. Wink

RE: One reason why America is overweight
Subway has now become the #1 Fast Food chain so hopefully we are on a new track here in America. Hardees has came out with a turkey burger which is under 500 calories, yea it's a lot but still a normal thick burger I think contains around 1,500 calories and is much more worse for the heart and body. People are lazy in America, you'll see someone sit in a car for ten minutes just to get a closer parking space when they could have already been in the store if they would have just walked an extra 50-100 feet. I don't see hardly anyone exercise and the foods in the south where I live are almost all completely fried. Pork, pork, pork and more pork and beef. Gravy, biscuits, livermush, spam, hotdogs, hamburgers and it's everyday. Then they sit on their ass and watch television and go to bed... then go to work and really they just stand there for 6-12 hours not burning calories. The US citizens think they can simply take a pill and it's going to burn all that fat off! I think not you fat lazy bastards, get out there and run! I love running because if I'm having a bad day and I go jog for about 3 miles I feel so much better plus I have to run anyways since PT is required in the United States Military. You don't see fat people in the Marines but you see some overweight people in the Army, it's just the truth though Wink

The main culprit in soda – high-fructose corn syrup – can increase fats in the blood called triglycerides, which raises the risk of heart problems, diabetes and other health woes.
