Ohhh, I'm sorry!? You failed to state that in the form of a question?

Softly, softly, catchee monkey.

Thank you for confirming what I said about the forum not being disciplined enough to make such a thread possible, Toadaly? And... nice trolling?

Fun "paradox": The higher the selection pressure, the slower evolution takes place.

Yes they'll misrepresent things but that means you need to find another question to show how they have misrepresented it. Or if they do not answer your original question, just repeat it in a different way.

Interesting idea about the colosseum. I'd be up for it.

That comes under banter. It would be naive to think that you could have a thread without any chatter on it, hence the reason for putting the proper questions in bold.

Think of it like a game of chess but with questions.

RE: Only atheist questions and theist answers
Here's my question to theists :-

Q-Let's presume that God actually exists! i accept that God exists without any evidence but what reason do i have to even respect it/him/her(let alone worshiping God)?

The world is see around me is in Chaos and self-destruction first thing that comes to my mind is that a psychopathic sadistic freak of a creator made all this without any rhyme or reason.

Dreams/Hallucinations/delusions are not evidence
Wishful thinking is not evidence
Disproved statements&Illogical conclusions are not evidence
Logical fallacies&Unsubstantiated claims are not evidence
Vague prophecies is not evidence
Data that requires a certain belief is not evidence

Yeah, like people are going to follow those rules...

RE: Only atheist questions and theist answers
"How do you KNOW that god is invisible, is not made of any matter, has a mind and that mind is all powerful and all knowing" ?

"Do you claim this to be knowledge or do you claim it to be belief" ?

"If it is belief, why do you believe it" ?

Insanity - doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results

Q) Is God part of the universe or outside of it?
Actually you violate your own rules with the question, as it is loaded with an argument - that a god is necessarily part of the universe or outside of it, but not both. It's also a somewhat ambiguous contrast - part of v. outside. I'd say a better phrasing would be, Is God within the universe, or outside the universe, or both? To which I would answer, both.

See? This format doesn't lead to much.

It was suppose to be a mental exercise/learning experience for both parties (atheists and theists). Yes, none of us expected it to go well, but why should that stop someone from trying?
You don't like it then get off the thread and quit bitching. Nobody cares.
