Sad Ooooh Alzheimers
Just a little concerned of recent times!
With my typing: tendency to space prior to last letter being typed.
Also miss letters and have to re-doNo
Short term memory a bit off tooConfused Few other minor signsSadcryface
Oooh dear! Better start on those cross words-------------

My 87 year old dad does crosswords. He says it helps him stay alert.

As for typing? I am constantly making typos. Often I will have to edit a post to fix one I did not notice when first reading the post before submitting it. Blink

My new doctor told me I am currently suffering "chemo brain", where one's thinking is slowed down. I think this was evidenced in my ongoing debate with that troll, popsthebuilder. That it took me so long to realise shows how slow I currently am. And I am just 51!

You're doing alright. Wink

RE: Ooooh Alzheimers
I've been wondering about this with myself lately too. Problems remembering things even if I really try to concentrate on them. I'm only 49 but I've had a lot of seizures over the years and I think they're catching up with me.

Why have you had seizures?

RE: Ooooh Alzheimers
I'm 73, had a mini stroke 15 months ago, no after effects, and not too worried.
Took a lot of anti depressants and benzos for decades. Probably stuffed my brain a bit.
Not too bad otherwise, train at a gym, bp, chol etc OK, so not too concerned
Stopped drinking again, into some meditation, trying to enjoy life, and have planned
to do a bit of voluntary work.
Anyhow Alzheimers can be very slow in developing and old peeps can have memory
problems etc even with out itThumbsup'
TTA helps keep me on my toesWink

It helps me here too. For example, exposing popsthebuilder as the fraud he is has been enjoyable.

In a recent post he went from a guy struggling with the english language to a gansta style insult expert. Not a letter wrong.

Too funny.
