Opinions On Resident Evil 6
Ok so i played Resident Evil 6. It wasn't bad but it definitely wasn't the best. I thoroughly enjoyed the Leon campaign though. Have not completed the Chris or the Jake campaign yet but I'm not expecting much. Opinions? Reviews? Furious Rants? I'm interested.
I ate the eleven Hunters before me

I know I'm in the minority when I say, I like this game. I think the controls are actually quite good contrary to what EVERYONE is saying. I beat Jake's, got to ch 5 on Leon's and did a little on Chris'. Enjoyed them all, mercenaries is good. A lot of people also say no atmosphere or horror. The atmosphere is there for sure. The horror? It's there, though not much. Endless bitching about QTE. Some are alright, some aren't, I'd say its 50 50.
I think the health system is an upgrade. Way more mobility is an upgrade. Do we really need to keep using stiff controls from almost 10 years ago(RE4, which worked quite well back then)? But anyway, I like it a lot. I just think a user score on metacritic of 0.8 is beyond overboard. |
