RE: Original Sin
On a side note, does anyone have the original video without the black boxes? That Eve is smoking hot and I wouldn't mind me some Garden of Eden porn... Yeah, I'm mostly sure it was drawn with the black boxes in the first place, but, you know, just in case...

RE: Original Sin
Instead of original sin, it should be called original critical thinking.
In the story, Eve wanted what the fruit from the tree could give her.
Seeing that it was good, she gave some to Adam and they both were better off than they were before.
In the story god lied to them and said they would die if they ate the fruit. They didn't die.
The serpent told Eve the truth and she made a choice.

She was already able to use her critical thinking skills to determine who was good and who was bad, who was lying to her and who was telling the truth.

RE: Original Sin
Of course "Original Sin" never happened. It is theology, the study of nothing by the philosophically inept.

Theology is the the anus of the body of philosophy. It is laughable.

Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.

I love it! It's deadly, but it needs just a little cleaning up though to be truly terse.

Theology is the anus of philosophy.

I may just have to use that one from time to time.

Oh gosh, I wish I'd thought of that, "Theology is the anus of the body of philosophy" because I'd totally make that my signature.

Is fucking a tree an original sin? How about a rose? They kinda look like vaginas. Trust me, I have a friend who did that and I... I mean he... totally said it was like screwing a vagina.

My girlfriend is mad at me. Perhaps I shouldn't have tried cooking a stick in her non-stick pan.

You molested a rose? What, didn't have any clitorias around?

You can call her Tori, but please don't call her Clit, she hates that. Yes. That's her real name, and she doesn't appreciate you snickering. She's named after her Great Aunt Clitoria who was a really nice person, so just drop it, OK? Clitoria is native to Southeast Asia and she loves to grow in a wet, hot, sexy environment.

I find it interesting that the most common variety, clitoria ternatea, is widely used as an anti-depressant.

Well no shit, Sherlock!

Of all the flowers you could've gone with (or gone out with Laughat ), you chose rose? Really?

I used to have this as my wallpaper at my previous job and when he saw it, my boss said it was erotic. Made me think "thank god I'm not the only one who thinks there is something vaguely erotic about it." Which is definitely not why I love tulips...

RE: Original Sin
First lets start with why you would believe that people can be created,
If I told you that my twin brother was created but I wasn't, would you believe that story ?
Would it help you believe if the doctor, my parents, grandparents and all the people in my small town also believe it.
As the story goes, my mother gave birth to one child and as people were peering through the large window to see the new born babies, in my little basket, there were two of us there when there should have been only one.
Since we were identical twins, it's really uncertain which one of us was born and which one created.
We both have belly buttons and all our genetic markers appear as if we are directly related to our parents.

So, it could be that I'm the one that was created and my brother the one that was born, since there is no way to tell.
My parents had to make a choice and it wasn't easy. My brother is revered as a created child of god and I'm not.
One guy in my small town doesn't believe the story, but no one really takes him seriously. He's a bit crazy anyway.

So now, as you read the story, are you able to critically analyze the tale or will you simply accept it as truth.
After all, lots of people believe it. We have eye witness testimony from a doctor, a licensed professional, that only one child was delivered.

OR is all you have is my story of it all. Have I made the entire thing up ? Do I even have a twin brother ?
If you ask where this small town is so that you can investigate and talk to the people there, will I tell you that I can't tell you because I made a VOW to the people to never reveal their location. When you ask to talk to my brother or my parents, I'll sadly have to tell you about the horrific car accident they were in. No one survived.

Now then, we know how humans arrive on earth. They are BORN. We all have parents. We know scientifically that the genetic proteins that allowed placenta mammals to evolve in the first place came from a virus. Without that genetic material from a virus many millions of years ago, placenta mammals wouldn't exist today.

So if you want to suggest that god borrowed material from a virus that existed millions of years before humans did in order to give Eve the genetic ability to have children, then you should also believe that my entire story is true as well.

And if you do, then please go on Ebay and buy my "godly created" piece of holy swamp land in Florida.
