I'm sorry, KC Sadcryface For you and your friends.
I have no words for them, but I figure the best way to get those nasty images out of your head is to remember your babies are still alive and well, and they Heart their daddy Shy Give em a hug next chance you get Hug

Senseless tragedy, made all the more tragic by involving young children. We find ways to cope, offer support, and try not to focus too much on the fact that the world is chock full of needless suffering. Best wishes.

Awful. A student of my father's lost an infant when a deck collapsed and the infant was crushed. It is profoundly difficult to lose a child, and having the child under someone else's care when it happens it crushing in its own particular way to life and relationship. Sorry man.

Give me your argument in the form of a published paper, and then we can start to talk.

So sorry KC. This is horrible.

It's really tearing me up. I can't handle stuff when it comes to children or babies... I instantly think of my kids. I keep wanting to cry, but I've been holding off.

I don't know why this type of thing affects me so badly... I'm usually pretty stalwart. I guess I'm becoming a wuss in my older age.

We know the parents pretty well. QC is probably going to the funeral, but I know I'm not. I simply cannot handle something like that nor do I want to try.

I don't know... just can't stop dwelling on it. Really, really sad right now.

*Hugs* You are fine, KC. You let it out, man. We are here for you.

You must attend the funeral. It's about being there for your friends, even just your presence. You don't have to speak but offer each a hug.

My condolences,

When you become a parent you experience many events that for the flip of a virtual coin, tragedy could have happened to your children.
Just remembering the near misses feels so horrible, to have to experience the worst possible outcome is something I don't think I could bear.
