No way, gotta be satirical.

The 'cos God did it, you know quote and the bullshit graph are nowhere close to being the kind of sophisticated disguise ID would wear.

I think what the satire says is basically that this is what ID boils down to...

I call a poe.
It's just too perfectly stupid. I have read a lot of ID papers and at the very least they attempt to confuse people with big words. This one basically says: shit is complicated and only god could have made it, but at least the concept is a lot easier to remember than evolution. It's a ready made joke.

I call BS, I think it's satire.
It's missing three elements needed of a home-schooling textbook

1) A bible/holy book verse
2) Big words
3) an introduction into the religon "how the world was really created"

Anyone who thinks it's satire needs to check out the movie "Jesus Camp". You'll then have your answer.

My reason for being is to serve as a cat cushion. That is good enough for me. Wink

I only suspect a poe because the last image on the final page looks like the headshot of a porn star.

This has GOT to be a joke. This was made up by an atheist trying to take the piss out of creationism....it HAS to be. Nobody can be that fucking ignorant.

RE: Page from a home schooling "textbook"
I would be inclined to say this is a joke, but I know too many stupid people to be totally convinced. When you work in a public library in an area that is pretty conservative, you learn how dumb the general public is really fast. We could put this book and a book on evolution on a shelf display together and this one would be eaten up and the evolution book would cause people to remove our funding.
