I prefer Dunkin Donuts.

Nice to meet you.

Don't they know Chick-fla would be a better home for them?

Depends, if the goal is also "Stealth Evangelization" as I like to call it. If so, then they'd mostly be preaching the choir.

Need to think of a witty signature.

Waffle House is where I always ran into the Jesus crowd, but at one in Biloxi Mississippi the same kid who asked me if I knew Jesus the next week called me an asshole because I asked him to remove the grits from my plate. "It comes with grits." He assured me. "Not on ly plate it doesn't" He put my eggs on a clean plate and when he slid it back in front of me he stage whispered "What an asshole."

RE: Panera and Jesus
I had the exact same experience in a local coffee shop the other day. I heard two men talking quietly behind me (couldn't even see them, or make out their words), but I could tell just within the first couple of seconds from hearing the tone of their voices (mainly the forced enthusiasm and surfer-inspired accent of turning every vowel into an "ah" sound ) that they were probably youth pastors at some cool and hip "get 'em while they're young" church. Then I clearly heard the term "laid it upon my heart," I glanced back and saw a late 20-ish something guy with shoulder-length dreads and a tie die shirt with a cross and a summer camp logo on it, and a middle-aged guy with a deep v-neck t-shirt, full beard, oversized nerd glasses, and a pageboy hat, and I was like "Yes! Fucking nailed it!" I didn't stick around very long, though, because luckily I had gotten my coffee to go.

If we came from dust, then why is there still dust?

I'm just surprised how much of this happens on weekday mornings. I would expect to see the church crowds on Sunday... if I wasn't busy sleeping in.

Do you notice lots of silent nodding while one person talks?
