Paris padlock bridge
The pedestrian bridge of love in Paris, the Pont des Arts, with all the padlocks on it is being removed. Not the bridge, just the padlocks. A plexiglass wall is being placed so lovers can't put their padlocks on it anymore. There are so many padlocks that it's collapsing and is a danger to the river traffic below, but even so people are totally pissed about it.

I don't find it romantic and the bridge is ugly now. Ick.

Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors.... on Donald J. Trump:

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

Bad news for the local locksmith.

I'd love to have something like this in an Elder Scrolls game; lockpick grinding heaven.

"Don't answer that. A rhetorical question."

It's a wonderful sentiment, but it's location is badly chosen. What about constructing a fake bridge with nothing underneath to continue this tradition?

RE: Paris padlock bridge
How about the couples instead scrawl their initials on money and give it to a good cause?
