For "Pat Robertson Explains Divine Genocide" I get a video that says "an error has occurred."

How ironic.

Wow ... just ... wow. Denial isn't just a river in Egypt.

Check out my atheism blog. It's just a blog, no ads, no revenue, no gods.

RE: Pat Robertson Explains Divine Genocide
Well that was interesting...

1. "The most merciful thing for a loving God to do..." would be to not make them, knowing ahead of time that they would be like this because he's supposedly omniscient, right?

2. "Now, it sounds cruel, but in the long run, is more merciful." These people are supposedly still in Hell writhing in agony today, so I take it it's only merciful for the people who aren't them.

3. "He didn't want his people to be contaminated by those people." Wow, these people must have been really easily persuaded. You'd think God could make it easier for them to resist the others, or make the other people stay away.

4. "They offered their children as sacrifices..." It's only a bad thing when God doesn't demand it, I guess.

Where? Where in Leviticus does it say this? Where specifically. Moses and the Israelites didn't leave the desert until numbers. Leviticus dealt with issues and laws among the people of Israel.
