Not so much a scum bag as a fool blinded by ideology.

Ideology invariably limits rational thought.

Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.

He has consistently lied through his teeth. If Romeny is a douche bag, Ryan is the scum bag.

J/S

Please define 'unborn child'.

Ummm, the baby before it's born. Do you really need to ask this. I'm pro choice but Paul Ryan isn't a scumbag for being pro life. He feels for the life and rights of said child and feels very strongly about it. How does being pro life make someone a bad person? Some of you act like he takes this position just to piss off women.

It's the position that a woman has to carry and birth the child even if she's rapped.

Not Paul Ryan, and I'm not sure where or who it was from. I saw a comment from some congressman recently was that no woman can get pregnant if it really from rape. Not sure how that is justified at all, yet I've also heard a caller on the Atheist Experience once try to claim rape is impossible and 99% of rape cases were lies. Even his two statements alone didn't make sense.

I agree with you, but it does not seem he realizes that a woman is the one who has to give birth. I remain free choice because it is not a decision I have to make. Keep in mind, I think married couples should come to an agreement on it, but ultimately it is not the male's body.

So is the fetus an unborn child from:
  • the moment of conception?
  • the moment the fertilized egg attaches to the uterine wall?
  • the moment the fetus surpasses X number of cells?
  • the moment that the fetus has a heartbeat?
  • the moment that the fetus is discernibly human?
  • the moment that the fetus becomes viable outside the womb?

Or "other", please specify.

Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.
