Ah a photography thread! Many very nice pieces here. Big Grin
I'm personally into winter photography, or sceneries...I love snow and ice and in particular the way they reflect light.

I'm mostly a wildlife and landscape kinda guy, but I get called upon for family stuff.

Here are my niece and great-niece in "Princess Ida" (the two standing):

Very nice. I wasn't sure if it was sand or snow at first. I would love to see more.

Cool. I don't shoot people well. I've been asked and I always say no. It's just not my thing.

I could share some of my summer shots Smile
This first one is among my oldest works and it is irritating because due to the mist on water and the trees it looks like it's tilted!! Argh! I'm a perfectionist when it comes to such things so.. it gives me mild agony!

Took the B/W photo at 6 am, I love mornings so I wake up early to enjoy. It's a good time, there's rarely any wind then.

This is from this midsummer, taken at 23:55 pm!!! I come from a land where sun barely sets during summer and in winter it barely rises (am sure its similar in Alaska? at least we're on the same height), so there are chances for mild exotica there. Too bad it does not really show in photos, so I had to tell you Tongue

Nice photo, but it really is tilted. Here you go:

I'd go crazy with either too few daylight hours or too many, I am a child of the Tropics.

RE: Photography
Great photos!
I wish I had the skill and the eye some of you have.
It shocks me when I actually get a really good picture, kind of crappy since I inherited dad's cameras and I can't do them justice. I have all kinds of photography stuff that sits and mocks me. Damnit.

See here they are, the bruises, some were self-inflicted and some showed up along the way. - JF
