I was SCUBA diving on a shallow reef when all of a sudden this bird swims by me! I followed him around for the next half hour watching him hunt for fish. It would pop to the surface for for a few seconds, catch its breath, and head back down. It did this repeatedly being totally unconcerened with me. I positioned myself some ten feet under it with the sun behind it and captured this moment as it streaked down.

A similar photo of the same bird and event was purchased by the New York Museum of Natural History in Albany, New York. Go figure, I spend my life photographing fish and I end up in museums for bird pics. Laugh out load

That's so cool.

Foxes have been visiting recently - at least two, maybe three different ones.
Two have exhibited what I believe is courting behavior. Consider
They show up day and night and there appear to be kits, as well.

I like foxes, too. It appears that they really enjoy that large sward of grass that you grew, just for them! You don't have a hen house, do you?

Nice, what I could see of them. They're so big I can only get about 20% on my computer screen at time. Could you resize them and repost? If so I find 600-800 pixels wide for the width part to be a good general starting point. Smile

That's weird. The forum should downsize them automatically. Did in the preview... Consider

What's the background story behind the Rundle Mall pigs? They're so cute LOL.

According to Adelaidecityexplorer.com.au, the pigs are a collective art piece officially titled "A Day Out", and were commissioned after winning the 1997 "Adelaice City Council’s Rundle Mall National Sculpture Competition" which aimed to source attractions for the upgraded Mall that year. They were made by a Sydney based sculptor, one Marguerite Derricourt, who claimed to have been inspired by Il Porcellino (A bronze boar statue fountain in Florence made in the 1600's).

Aside from that, I don't know if they have a story.
