Indeed.

Words for a way cool funeral, from the text of Carmina Burana:

Quote: May God grant, may the gods grant
what I have in mind:
that I may loose
the chains of her virginity. Ah! . . .

If a boy with a girl
tarries in a little room,
happy is their coupling.
Love rises up,
and between them
prudery is driven away,
an ineffable game begins
in their limbs, arms and lips. . . .

My virginity
makes me frisky,
my simplicity
holds me back.

Oh! Oh! Oh!
I am bursting out all over!
I am burning all over with first love!
New, new love is what I am dying of!

Come, my mistress,
with joy,
come, come, my pretty,
I am dying!

Oh! Oh! Oh!
I am bursting out all over!
I am burning all over with first love!
New, new love is what I am dying of! . . .

Sweetest one! Ah!
I give myself to you totally! . . .

(It sounds even better in Latin.)

Religious disputes are like arguments in a madhouse over which inmate really is Napoleon.

First choice. Waits, A Good Man Is Hard To Find. I find the lyric and music have a nice tone of finality. Plus it's short, I don't want people sitting there forever listening to a song or songs

Second. Cale, his rendition of Cohen's Hallelujah posted here. I'm a misanthropic and ironic son-of-a-bitch.

Third choice; again on the ironic theme, plus I love Cave.

or

Fourth. Lou, being Lou and me going out in true punk rock style. I'd cut the dialogue at the beginning.

Love the second Cave song (and very appropriate, too).

But a Cohen cover, no matter how good it is, will always fall short of the original. Yes

"E se non passa la tristezza con altri occhi la guarderĂ²."

Preach it, sister, preach it. Bowing

I honestly thought it went without saying...

How's that for a funereal kind of song:

Words cannot express how much I love this man.

"E se non passa la tristezza con altri occhi la guarderĂ²."
