It goes like this The fourth, the fifth The minor fall, the major lift The baffled king composing Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Your faith was strong but you needed proof You saw her bathing on the roof Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew you She tied you To a kitchen chair She broke your throne, and she cut your hair And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah You say I took the name in vain I don't even know the name But if I did, well really, what's it to you? There's a blaze of light In every word It doesn't matter which you heard The holy or the broken Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah I did my best, it wasn't much I couldn't feel, so I tried to touch I've told the truth, I didn't come to fool you And even though It all went wrong I'll stand before the Lord of Song With nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims. Hallelujah, seriously?
You left yourselves wide open for this one: I'd give you the lyrics but I don't speak foreign. |

History, I believe, furnishes no example of a priest-ridden people maintaining a free civil government. This marks the lowest grade of ignorance, of which their political as well as religious leaders will always avail themselves for their own purpose. ~ Thomas Jefferson |

RE: Pick your funeral song.
Freude, schoner gotterfunken, Tochter aus Elysium, Wir betreten feuertrunken, Himmlische, dein Heiligtum. Deine Zauber binden wieder, Was die Mode streng geteilt, Alle Menschen werden Bruder, Wo dein sanfter Flugel weilt. Seid umschlungen, Millionen! Such ihn uberm Sternenzelt! Insufferable know-it-all. ![]() |

RE: Pick your funeral song.
I don't know if I even want any music at my funeral. I don't want people to connect music with my death because music is such a beautiful thing! ...
and about the Hallelujah song... omg??? I have never ever paid attention to the lyrics, i always thought it is a deeply religious song... it's not, I guess Darth Vader
