Piece of Jesus' Cross Found (here we go again)
Quote:This discovery provides further evidence of the historical Jesus, a man who really existed in ancient Palestine, who is the subject of the much-publicized book "Zealot: The Life and Times of Jesus of Nazareth," by Reza Aslan.

They have no proof. It's all assumption, apparently based upon the chest containing "relics of a holy person". It could have been just any priest or even a non-Christian holy person, but somehow they conclude it must be Jesus... Rolleyes And this is what they call "evidence of the historical Jesus"... Personally, I think it's far more accurate to call it wishful thinking.

If you added up all the pieces of the "True Cross" ever found you'd have enough wood to make an entire forest.

Or maybe an ark. Yes

Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.

Every piece of wood found on any mountain is from the ark and apparently every holy person is jesus.
And of course any piece of wood similar to the kind of wood used in crucifictions anywhere is the cross that jesus died on.

Cruci - FICTION people. It's right there in the word

LOL

Insanity - doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results

If there was such a thing termites ate it and turned it into termite poop a very long time ago.

Shakespeare Insult 13 – Henry IV Part 1
“That trunk of humours, that bolting-hutch of beastliness, that swollen parcel of dropsies, that huge bombard of sack, that stuffed cloak-bag of guts, that reverend vice, that grey Iniquity, that father ruffian, that vanity in years?”

It's not "here we go again." This time it is marketing for Reza's book, since he was such a big hit on Fox. Tongue
