I’d like Shine On played at my “Congratulations you’ve left the planet” party.

Absolutely one of my favorite bands ever. Listening to Wish you Were Here right now.

Any thoughts on their album Animals? I really love it but don't know many that do.

I know I'm supposed to like it...but I really don't. Undecided

Animals is a fave... well, they're all faves. Tongue

And what's this supposed to like it crap? I don't particularly like any Gwynnie movies, but Gwynnies? Heart Heart Heart

Good point, but to follow your analogy that would mean I would have to love my Siddies? Huh Huh Huh

RE: Pink Floyd
I saw them at Earl's Court during their Division Bell tour. I wish I could remember more of it, but we ate happy cakes standing on Westminster Bridge (hell, if you're going to break the law you may as well do it within cake-spitting distance of the place that outlawed it). I remember that I enjoyed it very much, though.

I hand-painted my own Division Bell (album cover) T-shirt and wore it to the gig. No idea where that ended up.
