Places on the National Register of Historic Places near you
There are 55 listed on the Register in Monroe County where I live.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_R...y,_Florida

I’ve been to 28 of them, 4 of them are Spanish galleon wrecks from the 1733 fleet that went down in a hurricane. Smile

My favorite one is Alligator Reef Lighthouse.

What about where you live? How many are there, how many have you visited and which one is your favorite?

Please include hyperlink so we can quickly see why you like it so much. Thumbsup

We have quite a few in Portland Oregon. One of the most unusual is not a building but the Historic Columbia Gorge Highway which was built in between 1912 and 1922. It's an old funky two laned highway but it was built for the smaller cars back in the 1920's so you have to go very slow when passing oncoming cars.

It's paved now but it goes past tons of waterfalls along the gorge.

That building is called Crown Point. The Highway circles around that building and meanders along the river for many miles. It's super pretty!

Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors.... on Donald J. Trump:

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.
