I love the pledge of allegiance. It gives people a sense of pride in their nation. I am really jealous of Singapore's pledge. Theirs is way better than ours!

Eh, I can't support a pledge for something like humanity or the USA, or the planet Earth. Those are just too fucking big and impossible.

A pledge to something more manageable is fine.
