Wasn't on the list, but I always like Albert Brooks' afterlife with all-you-can-eat pie and all-you-can-eat Meryl Streep back when you'd want to.

As a backup, take me to Valhalla. Battling all day then feasting and wenching all night always sounded pretty good to me.

If I absolutely am forced to pick an afterlife, I will ignore the restrictive polls and take this: An afterlife wherein all cognition is removed from me such that my after-life existence is rendered functionally the same as real death insofar as the results to my mind would be concerned.

The people closely associated with the namesake of female canines are suffering from a nondescript form of lunacy.

RE: Poll: What version of the afterlife would you prefer?
I like the afterlife where I'm reborn into my body again, as an infant, with no memory of the previous life.

Might as well make it a new universe while you're at it, this way, I'll live a billion zillion lifetimes never getting bored, because each life I live will be different from the last.

None of the above, knowing what I know now I would quite like another shot at the life I've had, I could then rectify the things I've made a balls of.

Why isn't Big Rock Candy Mountain an option?

Don't let those gnomes and their illusions get you down. They're just gnomes and illusions.

Love that song:

Quote:In the Big Rock Candy Mountains,
There's a land that's fair and bright,
Where the handouts grow on bushes
And you sleep out every night.

Where the boxcars all are empty
And the sun shines every day
On the birds and the bees
And the cigarette trees
The lemonade springs
Where the bluebird sings
In the Big Rock Candy Mountains.

In the Big Rock Candy Mountains
All the cops have wooden legs
And the bulldogs all have rubber teeth
And the hens lay soft-boiled eggs
The farmers' trees are full of fruit
And the barns are full of hay
Oh I'm bound to go
Where there ain't no snow
Where the rain don't fall
The winds don't blow
In the Big Rock Candy Mountains.

In the Big Rock Candy Mountains
You never change your socks
And the little streams of alcohol
Come trickling down the rocks
The brakemen have to tip their hats
And the railway bulls are blind
There's a lake of stew
And of whiskey too
You can paddle all around them
In a big canoe
In the Big Rock Candy Mountains.

In the Big Rock Candy Mountains,
The jails are made of tin.
And you can walk right out again,
As soon as you are in.
There ain't no short-handled shovels,
No axes, saws nor picks,
I'm bound to stay
Where you sleep all day,
Where they hung the jerk
that invented work
In the Big Rock Candy Mountains.

It looks good on paper, but I don't think I would want to know everything I currently know. If I absolutely knew, I would turn out a serial killer. The pattern being I would kill those that made life hell as a kid. If I just would get strong feelings that would keep me away from certain people or do things a bit different, that would be ok.

Replace "battling" with "feasting and wenching" and I'm in. Or, if "battling" can be done online, in a game of my choosing, I'd also be down.

I honestly don't know. Eternity in any form would be torture. But if I have to choose, I'd choose heaven. Paradise, mead, meat, and all the fun you could want.
