RE: Polytheism
Polytheism is the belief that there are many gods.

^ Is still most-likely a truck-load of bullshit, as is Monotheism.

People argue that Polytheism is less dangerous than Monotheism, which maybe true now, but back when Polytheism was thriving, we didn't have records of everywar, or the reasons behind them, and therefore we can't accruately tell how bad polytheism was since its inception.

RE: Polytheism
I still believe Atheist captures all gods under it's umbrella.

I see polytheism as such
Instead of talking to one imaginary friend, you talk to MANY imaginary friends.

Insanity - doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results

I would offer the hypothesis that religion then was used as religion has always been used as a way to keep the peasants in line and as an excuse for the Nobility to do whatever they damn well please. Alexander, for instance went to see the Oracle at Delphi before he began his invasion of Persia.

when god by definition is evil then any evil can b god

god is like cancer end, that insistence to force one physical form to destroy everyone else n possess the reference of objective powers instead of free values

like bacterias one makes many

this is where we can understand how quality is always superior to quantity and why democracy is wrong

anything in quantity is evil

anything true or right is its fact only

that is how humans are dealt with as animals that have no right to claim being individuals or persons
while the idea of being right human is being then present freedom completely different identity than any other one

what is true is always only one but one free abstractions source of objective realisations and communications with else

logically, the most evil god is the creator of living times through force and abuses, what others god cannot do since it went through him

which gives a hint on what it is said, that existence is an accident
as if it went wrong from the beginning bc of evil wills to take advantage of some knowledge instead of respecting the knowledge they got

One god=much bad things
more gods=more bad things

a fuckload of bacteria=get help
just my 2 cents...

I don't really like going outside.

RE: Polytheism
As a history teacher I find polytheistic religions more fascinating to study, but whether a religion is monotheistic or polytheistic is still amounts to nothing more then fallacies and fairy tales. Just slightly more interesting ones.

"History teaches us that no other cause has brought more death than the word of god."
