I don't know. More than their priceless art, less than their property holdings? Who can say? Huh

Let's face it, the Vatican has pillaged from the whole world.

I'm telling ya...I'd love to go and see what treasures are hidden away.

I imagine it looking something like this... Tongue

I love this shot, it's real old-school movie magic; almost the whole thing is a matte painting and the shot is a composite. Oh, this is from Raiders of the Lost Ark in case you didn't recognize it.

Nice gold thrown you sit on, Francis. Oh the hypocrisy...

Yanno while there's a lot to like about the new pope (especially if you compare him to the last one - eeesh) his message is still a double-edged sword. He should begin every message he wants to promote with "I'm sorry for __________ - and fill in history" then go forward from there.
Minus an apology I can't give much weight no matter how good he seems.

It's the old "Good Cop, Bad Cop" game. Fucking shell game. How obvious could they really be?

If he were to publicly stand up to the american bishops and tell them to MYOB and STFU, that might be a step in the direction of confirming any olive branches the sumbitch might pretend to be offering. Not gonna happen, though, sad to say.

It's Special Pleadings all the way down!
