It is, I wore out my entry level bike. I happened across this one as a instore demo and it was the correct size. I got it for 1/2 of list and no tax, otherwise I could have never afforded it.

The bass is sweet. I also have a 1996 black/black/rosewood 5-string stingray.

Nice Thumbsup

I tried my hand at bass when I was about 17yo, had a Univox amp and a Fender Precision Starburst bass. I lost interest fairy quick and was going into the Air Force in short time anyway.

Anyway seemed like the lead guitar guys got all the attention (not to mention pick of the ladies) , so I chucked the idea of becomming a rock legend. Rolleyes

I started playing bass at 12, I am 43 now. Never really had interest in playing lead. Not a failed guitarist either, you know the players that sit on root notes and have no movement in their lines. I am fairly melodic in my style. I had rock star dreams at one point in time. Played in some orginal bands and recored demo's but it never went anywhere then wife and kids came along. Now I just play for fun.
