Pretty please.

I haven't officially told him to shoo fly....yet. Right now that's as charitable as I can get.

Same thing with the wine.
Yes I know what you are saying, just kinda puzzling how that happens you know?
It isn't metaphorical, not symbolic it just is. Right?
If thats the case I'll just have to live with this impasse and I'm okay with thatBig Grin

One might consider the ritual to be a metaphor for acceptance itself.
It's like making a show of how far one is willing to go as a follower.... "I will eat this bread & drink this wine" - no prob, as long as that's what I believe it to be. But - "I will eat this body and drink this blood" - that is belief - hard core.

In Spain it is a tradition to invite people round for wine and with the wine, plates of fruits and yummy varieties of differently cooked pork are laid out on the table. This tradition continues today, but it came about during the time when anyone who refused to eat pig was suspected of being a Jew. And no body expected the Spanish inquisition... but there it was.

And what do you think of Pope Francis? 'Cause he's starting to scare the shit out of Girly acting all Christ-like and whatnot.

I agree. Be gentle.

C²L, I wonder why you came here and are talking to us heathens?

Are you curious? Then ask questions instead of making statements. Try to understand people. It will get you a lot further.
