Don't be denyin' shit. You were defending Egor; then you found out Egor was pretty much indefensible. Tongue

The All-Seeing Eye... sees all. Big Grin
Okay, you get it. That's good. Thumbsup

PS The eye from The Dark Crystal or the one from LOTR?

Well, since I'm Evil... Evil_monster

Anyhoo, the thing about Egor; hard skin like rock. Takes a lot a flak 'cause he comes in, going full metal retard, and everybody takes a potshot at him. Big Grin

But he's a good dude. Thing about atheist forums, these are some of the most inhospitable places on the planet; ya gotta just imagine - buncha trolls sitting at the keyboard, writing a buncha whack crap, with the toothy troll-like grin going on - and it's all unicorns and glitter. Thumbsup

I am slowly acclimatising myself to the harsh landscape that is glitter and unicorns. I found out that wearing slickers work good!

You know how higher dimensional objects appear in lower dimensions right? A sphere will look like a circle in a 2D world, a line in a 1D world. Well, our 3D universe could be a projection from a 4D universe. We are basically images of a higher dimension. The 4D object which is responsible for our projection influences how the universe behaves through manipulation of said 4D object. In other words, we are shadows of 4D beings.

Who knows? "God" might be a child, playing with his "My First Universe" playset, or a scientist doing an experiment.
Or this is just one of countless flights of imagination that make for fun storylines but are ultimately not grounded in objective physical reality.
That's very true. In fact, this was one of the stories during our discussion regarding "What if there was an afterlife and a God". There was one version of heaven we came up with involving good tasting soy cheese and chocolate bars. Possible, but very unlikely.

The atheist is a man who destroys the imaginary things which afflict the human race, and so leads men back to nature, to experience and to reason.

And always remember, fstratzero, the beginning of a circle is in its center.
