I won't kill somebody if they posted some Neal Morse here, guy is talented as fuck, but a little too much JEEEEZUS for me.

Yeah, I got into Spock's Beard just before Neal left the band because "God told him to." That's too bad; he was the driving force of the band.

As a friend pointed out, Neal's decision probably wasn't entirely spiritual or altruistic: now that he's on his own producing his own "Christian" music, he's financially better off... and doesn't have to split the dough five ways.

Some fine Yes live minus Anderson.
That Ricky looks tiny in the hands of Squier.

RE: Prog thread
I would recommend checking out this band:

Opeth

From there more recent albums, Heritage/Pale Communion/Sorceress, they have taken a huge leap into the world of Progressive rock/metal. They used to be proper "RRRRROOOOOOOARRRR" type metal, which isn't my thing at all, but the above album and Sorceress in particular are AMAZING albums, and it's brought me a bit closer to prog music as well.

Will deffof be checking out some Rush and other bands Smile (recommendations on that front very welcome)
