I can see a problem right there.

PS: I love the part where you say that criminal should pay for their own incarceration by selling their entire property and up to their organs and even flesh for distribution in restaurent (despite the multiple dangers of cannibalism).

Then he's an idiot. Most people in prison are there in large part because of desperate poverty; they have no property to mortgage. So what he's really advertising is the use of the incarcerated citizens as sources of organs. Leaving out the fact that, due to high IV drug use both prior to and (equally illegally) inside the prison, as many as one third of prisoners have Hepatitis, you're still advertising something more barbaric than most of the crimes for which people are incarcerated as a "simple" solution. Also-- what exactly do you think organs are worth? Incarceration costs an average of $30,000 per year in this country. Even assuming I could get $60,000 for a kidney, that would be barely enough to pay for the time most people spend in jail awaiting trial prior to being sent to prison!

More importantly, somewhere between 2% (the Justice Department estimate) and 10% of people (according to advocacy groups) in prison aren't even guilty, but are there because of a failed justice system that has overworked Public Defenders who literally spend an average of an hour on each case-- worse in some places.

What are you going to do to an innocent person, once they are proved innocent on appeal? Give them the organs back? Take their lost property from the people it was sold to and give it back to them again?

Yes. Simple. As in "simpleton".

OMG no way!

The God-Rock Paradox? This is something NEW and EXCITING! Did you think of this on your own?

This argument could never be dismantled.

Assume for the sake of argument that God exists. It follows from the definition of God that God is omnipotent. Being omnipotent, God can do anything. In particular, he can create an immovable object, that is, an object that neither he nor anyone else can ever move. Now assuming that God creates such an immovable object, can he then move it? Either he can or he can't. If he can move it, then the object was not immovable, a contradiction. If he can't move it, then he is not omnipotent, again a contradiction. Thus the hypothesis (i.e., that God exists) leads to a contradiction, and so must be false. Therefore, God doesn’t exist. Q.E.D.

A detailed discussion of the problems associated with a belief in God can be found in the “Religion” chapter of my book Cutting the Gordian Knot: Simple Solutions to Complex Societal Problems.

Stanley Korn

Not all definitions of God claim God is omnipotent, omniscient et al. For example Process Theology abandons the concept of a God that can foreknow the future.
Surveys demonstrate that up to 26% of people who claim belief in God think of God not as an omni-everything personal being but as an impersonal force. Spinozian pantheism is another defition of "God".

The omni-everything God of religions like Christianity are not all there is to the concept of God.

When I shake my ignore file, I can hear them buzzing!

This is a really good name for a band, though.

An uncaused existence needs no god. None and done.

RE: Proof that God doesn't exist
Any real god would not be subject to what appears to humans to be "logical", (if it were really a creator-god). Thus the premise is both unproven and unsubstantiated by definition.
That will be $50.00 please.

A god that exists is only part of Reality. Non-existence is also a part of Reality, as long as that god exists. Total Reality remains unexplained and unaccounted for. A god that must participate in only part of Reality by definition, cannot be responsible for a greater whole.

Well the man would claim to have a PhD in intelligence if such a thing existed. There is no higher authority than that of a man whose convince he hold the truth about everything.

Freedom is servitude to justice and intellectual honesty.

Looks like a strong list of "throw some shit at the wall and see what sticks"

No shame in some people's game.
