RE: Public Breastfeeding
Whip em out! Whip THEM out! Let's see those milk bags...

My apologies, but I am going to sexualize those titties while women are breast feeding, but that's ok because I was doing it when they were tucked into the ladies' shirts.

I love boobies. I can restrain myself. I do appreciate the benefits of breast feeding. All kidding aside, I support it. I have daughters. If they want to nurse in public, they should.

Discrimination based on sex is wrong. Men go topless, women should too. Some of them at least. Be grateful I don't. My man boobs are something I want to keep as private as possible. You can do as you please, though.

RE: Public Breastfeeding
Its actually illegal here to prevent a mother breast feeding her child. A law that is completely justified. Who in there right mind would be against a mother feeding a baby.

Behold the power of the force!

So it's a hot topic on a Facebook page that I like right now. I'm completely dumbfounded at the sheer amount of people (99% women!) that want to force women to cover up while breastfeeding. What's their reason? Because it's inconsiderate... Frusty

You've got to be kidding me. Women who go together to the toilet (or to showers) say that breastfeeding is inconsiderate Laughat Ever heard of twin toilets? Invented for some French restaurants, so that women don't have to interrupt a conversation.

(11-08-2013 09:48 PM)NoahsFarce Wrote:  So I want to know how you guys feel about this topic. Do you want to enforce a rule where women must use a cover-up while breastfeeding?

Boobs? It doesn't count as a porn or even erotic in my book. They may be nice, even very, very nice, but I think the whole body counts, especially the face. And how that body is carried around.

I suspect my parents were nudists. Not officially, but mom never bothered about covering her boobs and ass at home if the weather was too hot, or any time near bathing. I am not into nudism, but I'm not going to argue with my mom on anyone else on what is essentially their business, as long as they don't force me to show off what is my business. That's how liberty looks like. Watch and learn. (not like that!)

You guys from sexually hysterical American culture are suffering from a great inflation and speculation of price on the boobs and ass market. Side boob? What the hell is that? Next time you'll be turned on by a woman's ankle like the Victorians. By the way, the Victorians were the greatest perverts of them all, I heard that the erotic literature from that time should be read with a puking bag.

Jacque Fresco said it right. He observed among tribesmen on Tuamotu, that if we all were naked, there would be no peeping Toms. People would stroke the whole woman as a dog, there would be no zones, no bases. No ass-affictionados, no boob-beholders, no leg-lingerers.

All we enlightened intellectuals need is an intelligent woman and a few gigabytes of porn.

If you claim there are nuances to principles, there are no nuances to getting arrested or shot for disobeying the power.

RE: Public Breastfeeding
The issue isn't over public feeding. Vast majority are in support of it (in the Facebook page I'm talking about). The issue is that this same majority is getting offended at women who aren't using a cover up while breastfeeding. Some even talked about how they ask women to move to another spot or go in the bathroom to breastfeed.

This baby cover thing is bullshit. Use it if your kid tolerates it and you're uncomfortable feeding with a partial boob out. But you shouldn't be FORCED to use it. This isn't a perfect world, there are kids who will not tolerate a cover of any thickness. Some kids get hotter than others and they are already snuggled up to their mother with some skin-to-skin contact. Throwing even the lightest blanket over these kids can cause them to overheat which is bad.

Then there is the pump it crowd. Again, not a perfect world. Not all women can pump efficiently. Besides, the more you pump and the less you actually feed from the breast, the greater the risk of losing your milk supply. You also risk your child becoming lazy on the breast. The female body is extraordinarily tuned for babies. I've seen some amazing things with my own children when it came to breastfeeding. One crazy example is that my wife's milk supply would suddenly go full throttle after one of our babies started to cry for it. Yes, I know... it has to do with a sensory trigger and not the baby itself... Pavlov style. Also, some babies will not take a bottle for the life of them. That's my daughter right there. Absolutely refused to drink breastmilk from anywhere other than mommy's breast.

Did all of these people just shove their fingers in their ears during the whole pregnancy? Man, I was a sponge for all the information I was receiving.

Want to know one of the more ridiculous things many of them were saying?
"Women need to be considerate of others! I don't want to have to explain to my child why you have your boob out in public with a baby sucking on it!"

No, cover-ups shouldn't be required, unless the baby is eating ortolan.

What did I just watch? Shocking

I'm a foodie, but that's just plain silly.

RE: Public Breastfeeding
Yeah, I'm probably going to step on some toes, but here goes anyway;

I'm pretty bitter about breastfeeding in public.
Not that I think anything is wrong with it, but I used to work at a café where there would be a lot of mothers breastfeeding their babies, and they would remove their shirt entirely and just sit there half-naked and refuse to cover up.

I would have nothing against it if everyone was a good-looking babe, or just average for that matter, but when you look like a fucking whale, then please, for my eyes sake, cover your fat, disgusting body up.

Also, don't tell me "just don't look at it" when you deliberately are in an environment where people need to look at you, or in a crowded place.

There are obviously some people who don't think the person is a fat disgusting whale because they obviously just had a baby
