eh I'm not convinced.
The population was just fine prior to this.
7billion, 5billion I don't think it would make much difference. Like for example, the population was much smaller in the 20's then it is now but what makes us fundamentally different from those in the 20's is culture, rights and how globalization effects us via foreign trade etc..
