Makes me think.
Does anyone else think it's odd that so many Trekkies are fundies. It like they miss the whole damn point. Of course missing the point is common among them so perhaps it ain't so strange after all.

Huh

Most of the people I know are Trekkie to some degree, and all of 'em are atheist or aggie.

You'd be surprised..
In my personal life I've met quite a few Trekkies that were overly religious and some years ago I was a member of a Star Trek forum that was overwhelmingly populated by hard core Christians. It was the reason I left..

Which is surprising. From what I remember, Roddenberry was a humanist.

Why not just go ahead and ban me, Mark?

But know this, The Q will get the credit for the win. That will fuel my next 100 sermons, "The atheists mocked me, than banned me, rather than engage on the issues."

PS. Check... and mate.

I'm told atheists on forums like TTA are bitter and angry. If you are not, your posts to me will be respectful, insightful and thoughtful. Prove me wrong by your adherence to decent behavior.

Qbert is ok ... you never know, he might be learning something.

It's like those St Bernard dogs; they're big & stupid like most big stupid dogs are but, most St Bernards are in fact, retarded due to over-inbreeding. Still, they have potential and the goofy factor alone is reason to have one. And you never know ... they just might learn something. Shy

RE: Q! Where are you?
I love TNG! And I love the episodes that involved Q too.

It's just a cherry on top that Gene Rodenberry was an atheist.
