Question about Vertebrate Paleontology books
Hello, I have quite a nagging question. I just recently bought The Evolution and Extinction of the Dinosaurs by Fastovsky and Weishampel. I also noticed that they published a book later on called Dinosaurs: A Concise Natural History. I was just wondering if there are any paleontologists who have read these books and noticed any differences, because I compared the chapters of both books on Amazon and they looked the same. Any help would be appreciated Smile

I find the reasons for your reasoning unreasonable.

RE: Question about Vertebrate Paleontology books
Might be a re-titling of the same book. New version or somesuch.

E 2 = (mc 2)2 + (pc )2
614C → 714N + e + ̅νe
2 K(s) + 2 H2O(l) → 2 KOH(aq) + H2 (g) + 196 kJ/mol
It works, bitches.

RE: Question about Vertebrate Paleontology books
There is one less author on the newer version and it appears to be a little bit shorter, but I've never read either. I would go for a $10 copy of the older one for now via amazon. It looks like figures might be a little different too. Could be the earlier one is more aligned towards advanced students whereas the later one is a bit more cartoony.

RE: Question about Vertebrate Paleontology books
All my books, paleontology or otherwise, are vertebrates; they all have spines.
