Question for Atheists
So for atheist, what are your guy's take on the whole Jewish Third Temple prophecy thing?

Never heard of it mate. Seeing as it's 'prophecy', that's hardly surprising Smile

Uh, lemme look that up. I've never heard of it.

after briefly reading this site

From the second obstacle, it sounds more like a Santa Claus thing. Like if everyone's really good and really believes then you'll get your reward but you gotta wait for a looong time sort of a thing. Or at least that's what I'm getting from that especially seeing that somehow it's suppose to be built overnight?

In Israel there is a destroyed Temple and this Temple was destroyed twice. In the Bible there is supposedly a prophecy that states the temple will be rebuilt for a third time to signal end of times or something like that, there's a lot to it.

I agree, but i'm one of those types of people that get scared by stuff like this easily, even though I don't believe in it it gets my anxiety going and it makes me really think.

RE: Question for Atheists
An Ignostic's answer: .... so what happens if five different groups all build temples, each calls their own the third temple, and each insists that all the others are liars? Do all five temples call the third temple? Is just one of them real and all the others false, and if so, how do we tell which one? Perhaps all of them are false? Is the first one built the true one, or do only suckers fall for that first one? At what point can we check off the "prophesy fulfilled" box? And if we can't ever do that, exactly what would it mean for it to be fulfilled?
