I suppose this is what happens when you spend all your millions in the 1970's thinking it will never end. Then sales drop off and you find yourself touring heavily to pay off your debts in your 60's?

Drummer, Bill Bruford of Yes, King Crimson, UK and Genesis fame, spoke of this in his autobiography, about rockstars. He wisely saved his money, retired aged 64 and went back to university to gain a degree in music and write a thesis on drumming.

Happily living in Surrey, England.
