And somewhat coincidentally, do you know the cure for depression and insanity?

The meal or the artiste?

I'm happy with a bánh mì.

Useless in Singapore though 'cause the bread here ... well, it's not proper French bread.

Epic. Not entirely without merit --- I happen to make excellent soups. Chicken and steak soups are the two favs of the fam.

I'm feeling pretty sick today (dry eyes, tired, scratchy throat) so I'm going to go get some pho for lunch Smile. Long's vietnamese restaurant has the best pho broth. Big Grin.

RE: Ramen & Pho
To all you pho newbies. I highly recommend going out and getting real pho before making it yourself. I've had homemade pho twice. Once when an asian friend of mine's mother made it, and once when I made it. It was delicious when the mom made it, but my version was horrible and nothing like the usual thing.

Given that most pho places have a unique flavor to their broth, they still should give you an idea of what pho is all about. If you make it for yourself you might be making something that doesn't taste anything at all like pho Tongue.

I prefer fantasy, but I have to live in reality.
