RE: Ranting corner
No I phoned him, turned out the computer is incapable of doing 5pm, it only has a 5 which turns out to be 5am (some sort of automated email thing).

They need to fix that because the difference between 5am and 5pm to some people is a complete lack of sleep.

Cool, seems like a good shift time.

Thought perhaps these 'some people' may need to adjust their habits.

The people closely associated with the namesake of female canines are suffering from a nondescript form of lunacy.

It probably requires "17:00" and he doesn't know it.

I think the Complete Repair Kit ™ also includes baling wire.

... and if you can't fix it with a hammer, you need a bigger hammer.

Obligatory rant: I get off work in about 5 minutes, my way home is a bicycle, and it's pouring rain. I do not like riding in the rain. And I can't fix that with a hammer of any size.

RE: Ranting corner
So I'm reading the Pokemon Adventures Manga, and the first seven volumes were styled as the classic japanese way; reading from RIGHT to LEFT, instead of the other way around. Then, when we move on to volume 8, where suddenly the thing swaps to LEFT to RIGHT... And now I need to completely reverse my way of thinking to read the new volume...

He said there was not 17:00 option.

Don't have any duct tape.

Looks like I'm gonna be without transport (besides legs) for a couple weeks until I get my first pay check.

Actually with a big enough hammer it can act as an umbrella and protect you from the rain.

- Quadcopter (custom build one)
- Monowheel (custom build one) (cycle powered)
- An off-road skateboard for when you can't go kite surfing, go to the park around the corner and improvise.
