Do you have a 5/16ths inch box end wrench??

We've tightened it already. We just need to jump it to see if it will hold a charge. It was super loose before. (Thanks boyfriend)

OK... the side post batteries are notoriously finicky.....

Try this -- turn on the ignition to the "on" position... then try wiggling the battery terminal (the plastic part that the big wire goes into) a bit. If you get a spark (you can't get shocked -- too low of voltage --- so don't worry) and the ignition comes on --- that post is not getting a connection... You may need to disassemble, clean the post and the terminal then reassemble......

Any chance you know how to use, and have a voltmeter???

Do you know anyone with AAA that would come by and have AAA come jump the battery?

I'm afraid I do not own nor know how to use a voltmeter. Lol

I can do some basic stuff on my car but that's it

I'll go up later and try the rest though. Thanks onlinebiker!

That is true. I'm actually interested in learning how to work on cars. I hate having to spend tons of money for things that aren't impossible to do at home.

RE: Ranting corner
Sooooo it looks like I have to rearrange my whole morning schedule.

My older son missed the shuttle to college -- so now he's going to effectively miss a class.

Dodgy

If he takes a bus from home, which is an option, he'd have to get up at 5am to catch the bus at 5:30 to get to the shuttle stop by 7:10. Or I can drive him and be there in 10 minutes.....

Yes bus service is the suburbs is just that bad.

Yes, he's saving money for a car.

But as if to knock me down, reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch, cut me into little pieces
