I don't fucking send pages stat unless it's a goddamn fucking emergency, bitch. Dodgy

He just had retinal detachment surgery and when I woke him to give him his eye drops he had new loss of vision. You're a goddamn opthamologist. What did she do? Went to my non-emergent patient's room. Fuck you. I chatted that you were made aware. So when this guy is now completely fucking blind because no one acted fast enough - that's not my fault. He probably should have been level oned to the OR. She should have called her attending right then and there. Fuck you sooooo much. Angry

Threat of loss of permanent loss of vision ranks up there in emergencies with strokes, heart attacks, and traumas. Goddamn cocky prima donna residents and their pride. Fuck off. You shouldn't be in healthcare. There's a key word in there - care. It's not health money.
Have I ever told you that I'd want you to be my nurse if I ever end up in a hospital again. . . because I'd want that.

Give up nursing and become a sex worker. As an added bonus, you won't ever have to wear polyester and ugly shoes ever again. Smile

More of a 36 situation, I'd say.

36: whatever it is, it's already somebody's porn

When I was doing this job, I would catch at least $70 worth of stuff a day. Some of it the customers were trying to get away with and some the cashiers accidently gave away. It was always the people that were trying to get away with stuff that would complain to customer service or worse call corporate to complain. Even though the video evidence proved me to be correct, it was frowned upon because they didn't even want to lose the bad customers that stole at least one item every time they went shopping. I want to know what the general attitude is by you. Of course my co-workers hated me because I would catch more in a week than they had in the years they were there combined. It wasn't like they were trying though.

Yea we catch people every day. The type of store I work at is really bad for shoplifting. And our store in particular is the worst hit in the region due to our location and size. Management most certainly don't have an issue with it, in fact they're always trying ways to improve how we can catch more people. Fuck 'em, they're thieving cunts I believe is the general tone of it all.
As long as we're not doing any illegal management side with us if they complain and basically tell them to fuck off.

I worked in 6 stores in my 2 years, I was banned from most. It was only the last one I was in that was happy about the things I was catching. I even stopped the owner there once for shoplifting. I thought he was crazy because I had him dead to rights and he started laughing. When he saw how confused I looked, he introduced himself and showed his ID. He called my boss that day to say I was doing an excellent job and to keep it up.

Big Bang Theory once again preempted by fucking NCAA basketball...............

The only thing worse that watching a bunch of overpaid steroid monsters chasing a ball around - is watching a bunch of sad-sack chumps who are doing it for free.........................

And the only thing worse than that - is the jock sniffers who watch the whole mess -- thus screwing up the TV worth watching..................

The difference between prayer and masturbation - is when a guy is through masturbating - he has something to show for his efforts.

I don't watch sports, or anything with a laugh track, for that matter. I made it about 2 minutes into "The Big Bang Theory" and wandered out of the room. I occasionally watch the show about plane crashes or a crime drama- the ones that document the investigations. Damned if I can think of the names of the shows though.

Well, we will be getting a new roof on the house thanks to the hail. Still have to hear back from an adjuster about the vehicles and the fence. What a mess.

See here they are the bruises some were self-inflicted and some showed up along the way. - JF

I came here to rant a little and this ties in nicely so I'll frame it as a reply Smile
I'm just wondering how you go about confronting customers who you think are shoplifting.
Because yesterday I went to my (formerly) favorite grocery store and was out of the blue confronted and accused of stealing beer 5 times (I don't drink beer, and I certainly don't steal). I asked to see some evidence, namely the security footage they said they had, and the employee who was talking to me wouldn't show it to me. I asked him what he wanted from me. He said he was just giving me some "advice" and I should "put it back". I opened my purse to show him that there was nothing for me to put back since I didn't steal anything. I tried to defend myself and said that I was a regularly customer, at which point he cut me off and told me that he knew I was a regular, since they had been "keeping tabs on me".
I didn't know what to do, so I kept trying to defend myself until he walked away.
I talked to a manager, who said he would talk to him about it. I didn't get an apology or anything.
I'm still very offended and have contacted corporate, per the advice of many of my friends.
In your opinion (anybody's), who is being the asshole here? Me or the employee who confronted me (or both)?

My answer- that employee was way out of line. It is entirely possible that there is someone who looks similar to you that may be stealing(?). But he handled it all wrong. If you weren't detained (and had the goods), he had no call to approach you.
