That old man is close to how I imagine myself in a decade or two.

And thanks, Fireball. Serious question because I often wonder that. I met a guy once who heard voices, and I wondered why he didn't know that wasn't normal.

Hearing voices in your head isn't so bad -- it's when the voices in your head start ignoring YOU that you've got a problem...........

wheb you think about posting something and you don't finish it.. Set your phone down and it's magically posted even though you really didn't want to post it. Now you have to edit the text with a real rant.

RE: Ranting corner
Drive to work and find that people are too scared to pass a truck that is crawling up a very long hill. What is annoying is that while nobody will pass, nobody will get to the right lane to allow others to pass. I don't know what is so foreign to people about staying right unless you are passing. It is a state law, but no one seems to be able to quite grasp the concept. Very frustrating.

Just a heads up, given my current situation that my significant other is currently in the post on its way to Australia I'll probably be on the forum a lot more for the next two weeks.
Nothing good will come of this. You have been warned.

But if your tongue slips and you begin licking the sofa or a pillow, you'd stop right?

One would think so, but you never know!

I'm so disappointed. I bought a cantaloupe the other day, and just cut it up -- it had no flavor at all.

The last few I've gotten were so sweet and wonderful. This one was....yuck. Sadcryface

But as if to knock me down, reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch, cut me into little pieces

RE: Ranting corner
*i work at a corporate teleconferencing center. as in we lead conference calls for large companies and what not.*
the fact that you are so good at your job.. youll never be more than an event specialist.
as in.
one of my customers offered to send me a $50 gift card because he appreciates how i handle my job. he was super scared because things were complicated and wanted the call to go right for his clients. i guided him through the process and he was so impressed with me he offered me a gift card. of course i said no, that i was just doing my job and thats to make sure his call goes perfect. tonight he wanted my email to send me a proper thank you. *he requested to have me lead all of his calls* due to my history of flawless work i have been requested on a company who is threatening to leave us. BECAUSE I LEAD PERFECT CALLS. i have gotten cards because of my dedication, my lunch bought. i have solved many problems the team leads couldnt figure out. doesnt seem like a bad thing until
you try to apply for a different position within the company and you cant get it because
"we are constantly fighting to get you on our calls. we know that you wont mess them up and will take care of the customer" - supervisor.

I JUST WANT OFF THE CALL FLOOR! if i am so good why the heck cant i be a team lead or a zone trainer?? LET ME TEACH THESE FOOLS HOW TO LEAD A PERFECT CALL!
DANG IT
rant over.
