Weeping

That is the problem with stuff, it multiplies.

Omg it does.

It's beyond tax returns from 1956

But as if to knock me down, reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch, cut me into little pieces

Shocking

I know the feeling. We're walking around boxes and totes full of stuff from when we moved my MIL in with us. The furniture just got donated, for the most part. We have the living room, family room, the back patio, a rented storage facility and the garage packed to the point that if there was an earthquake, we'd have to blow the roof off the house to get out, or swim over it. We're working on it, have been for 5 years. It's clean, not like some hoarder show, but damn, it's annoying.

I went through the tax returns and shredded everything older than 7 years. That was GALLONS of shredded paper. We got an extra 33 gallon paper recycling bin and filled it every week for months. Her parent grew up poor, and saved everything. My wife is the same way; I've put trash that she wanted to keep in the garage, out of sight and shit canned it, later. I'm on her case now to stream line what we have. I discovered that we have three of those tooth washing machines (like water pic), two of which don't work. Those are going to suffer what I call "mysterious disappearance", come trash day. Yes I have no qualms gettign rid of something via donation, sale or recycling, but it's my wife's parent's stuff, and I can't move on it too much for that reason.

RE: Ranting corner
So... on the job hunt. I don't know officially that I didn't get the job but well... I didn't. And besides, it never hurts to look.
Found one working at the local casino. I could totally do that, it's a customer service role so I have experience. And the job requires you do some minor repairs to the gaming machines but they provide full technical training for that. It's fucking perfect, I'm good with my hands (ladies) and have customer service experience. Plus I can dress up nice when I want, hell all the tops I own are button up shirts. With cuffs. Also, not only do I have experience in customer service but I have experience dealing with shitty customers in a calmful way.

Plus it's working for a casino so you know they'll pay well and have a dope as fuck staff room. That or I'll end up working for the mob as a hitman... either way it means money.
It might be all the rap music I've been listening too tonight but totally gonna apply for that shit.

edit: OH and it's only like 100m from my current job.

Just knocked up a cv (we're expecting twins this Christmas) and I gotta say, I fucking nailed that shit.
The whole, "yea G, I work customer service, I work security, I got skills in a large variety of situations and people as a result, more so then your average retail douche. Oh and plus I build shit, I've built a couple computers and love tearing shit up (ladies)."

I'm a 25 year old white male who already has a job. This job seeking shit is gonna be easy as fuck (famous last words, you are free to bring this post up in a year when I've been on unemployment for 6 months).

Aluminium is the Brit spelling aluminum is the American spelling so in that case we are both correct, parmesan = one spelling not so clear cut. Tongue

RE: Ranting corner
Just went to Burger King for dinner; confession, I eat there more than is healthy, like breakfast every day I go into work. I say 'every day' in the complaint though. Fuck that now. Need to eat healthier anyhow.

Here's my complaint on the BK Survey site:
Quote:Where to begin? I was the second car in line, then waited 6-7 minutes after pulling up to order screen. After pulling around, the woman at the window took my card, had it for less than ten seconds before saying there was a problem with it (Target next door had no issue), gave her cash, she slammed the window. She gave me the change, slammed the window. Gave me the food and went to slam the window as I asked for a receipt. She gave a "hmph" and gave it to me. Then slammed the window again. And when I say slammed each time, I mean that it made a noise I've never heard a drive-through window make when shutting. As someone who worked in the service industry more than a decade ago at McDonalds, this sort of service would have gotten me yelled at, if not fired. I find it very unsatisfactory to be made to wait without even asking me to wait, then being treated in such a fashion. I usually eat here every morning for breakfast and sometimes for dinner; I will now pack my breakfast due to the poor behavior of this employee.

Need to think of a witty signature.
