I wanna have a nice drink and watch some QI, but am way too worried and on edge. And for once, I don't have to work, as I just finished my book. Sadcryface

Whats bothering ya?

I feel so much, and yet I feel nothing.
I am a rock, I am the sky, the birds and the trees and everything beyond.
I am the wind, in the fields in which I roar. I am the water, in which I drown.

Health problems in the family. (And on top of being worried, I feel like I have no right to enjoy myself, when someone else is going through a rough patch... but that's just me, being all messed up in the head. Again Hobo ).

I still have gift shopping to do, damn it. And it's -13C outside right now. Not that I'm gonna go shopping at night... But when I do, the only thing people will be able to see of me will be my nose.

So which one are you? An intellectual, an idiot (a moron, if you will), a diamond or a big steaming pile of manure? Consider

Yeah, but it gives birth to flowers (which is what the quote says, which you'd know, if you'd actually bothered to look it up Dodgy )

I was gonna suggest Courage, but we already have a couple those around. How about this:

RE: Ranting corner
So, not really an angry rant, but a, isn't that quaint rant.

So at dinner tonight, my mother was doing a prayer, and said something
along the lines of: 'God I want to thank you for keeping Jordan safe
while on his motorcycle.'

I thought to myself: "I guess my being a safe and careful rider, and taking my safety course has nothing to do with my safety."

It just seems funny to credit every little thing to some deity, while
overlooking the people who are actually doing the things. If your god is the one
who is feeding us, and keeping us safe and all that, how is that not a
violation of your oh-so-precious free will?

Whatevs, at least I have you heathens to talk to. Smile Hug

I did bother to look it up. I looked up the Intelletuali d'oggi one, 'cos that seemed to apply...

But now I can translate the other one given your pointer Smile
