Hope you feel better soon, flu sucks. Get some rest.

Heard yesterday that the flu shot is about 62% effective...hope I am on the right side of that number.

Okay, obviously my English isn't as good as I thought it was. I'm at a loss. What does this mean:

In the past week, she had summarily closed off all avenues of accommodation in the hopes of a singular miracle.

Oh, forget about it... I think I see a semblance of a meaning. To make up for wasting your time, here's a little nugget from today:

Well, they don't pee on them or something, but they release a "bonding" scent, when they mate (which means finding your mate, not just shagging them).
