RE: Ranting corner
Quote:Sometimes I want to show some cleavage, but I don't want to misrepresent who I am.

Sometimes I get a glance here or there. I usually don't let the eye contact linger… even if it's an Einstein in the body of James Dean, I still feel absolutely dirty, and disgusted, when I feel someone's eyes looking at my body.

I have had great conversations with men at bars when I was dressed very conservatively. I personally feel the conversation is richer when I am dressed conservatively, but it may be that I am more receptive to having a conversation with a guy who I know isn't looking at my boobs.

Jesus fucking Christ! Women can't be that good at fooling themselves, can they? Or that stupid?

And "misrepresenting myself"? What on earth does that mean? Sounds like a case of "I want to eat my cake and have it too." - I wanna dress sexy and attract attention, but god forbid someone should look below my chin, while we're talking Kierkegaard.

And because I normally find it below me to discuss the way people look (vampire porn writers excepted) I won't post a picture of the one who said that. Trust me, she's no gwynnies (ah, now I made myself sad again...)

I should really stop reading such stupid articles so late at night Dodgy

Tell him I said "Hello".

Lol. Cop's are pretty safe here. It's actually a rather nice job. To give you some perspective of how 'safe' it is to be a cop in this country, none of our cops have guns or even carry guns in their cars. They're in locked areas of the police station.
Cops here only just got tazers and even then those are locked in the car.
Being a cop would be better then what he does now. BUT it's the principle that you get a job or whatever BEFORE you move cities... typically. Especially with a baby on the way.

Quote:It's my birthday today
And I have to go to school, naturally this irks me.

Happy birthday.

Though your complaint of having to go to school is laughed at. Son, I can't remember the last time I had a somewhat decent birthday. I certainly have never had a birthday cake. The one time I get sick in a year often coincides with my birthday, and when I get sick I mean I get sick. Though even on the years I was not sick I would have to go to school and still got no birthday cake.
And trust me, it wasn't through lack of asking for a birthday cake.

Seriously?! No cake?? Nooooo that wouldnt fly in this house! Birthday's must include at the very least cake! Or pie...or whatever the birthday boy wants....

You'd even ask for a cake and not get one? Why does this make me want to cry?
