RE: Ranting corner
I moved a lot for several years then landed in SC for 20 years. When we moved from the house we lived in for 14 years (in 2006) I still had boxes from when I moved from southern to northern Arizona (in the mid 80s). I spent two months packing and going to the dump and the donation boxes. Here's a handy rule...if you haven't opened a box in twenty years...you don't even need to look to see what's in it.

See here they are the bruises some were self-inflicted and some showed up along the way. - JF

Ever hear of Sharpie pens? Some people have been known to label their boxes with the contents.

Pfft.

All the cool kids these days make a computer database of box contents.

Well, that's what I did.

Even if I did end up categorizing a couple as "miscellaneous crap".

Fuck it: Good Will is gonna make out like a fucking thief this summer! Thumbsup

Ooooooh my friend does that every 5 years or so. I just can't seem to do that -- stick with it. I give up too easily.

Stupid fucking jokes.

People need to think before writing or saying something about how it could make someone else feel, or they really don't give a shit about making someone feel uncomfortable. Either way, it's insulting. I make a completely innocent comment and it gets turned into some creepy joke.

A house fire is less effort AND you can toast wieners and marshmallows. Yes

RE: Ranting corner
I hate how my best friend is making me to feel like a horrible person.

She recently was evicted from her house. She refuses to get rid of her many animals (And I mean many). She just sent me a text asking me to sit in her car with her dogs today....in the 80 degree weather.....till she could take them to the shelter today.

I told her I couldn't do it. That it was going to be hot today and that it wasn't safe and asked her why she hadn't taken them to the shelter yet *its been at least a week since she was evicted* She responded with this message about how her work wouldn't let her, and that her work was ready to fire her for being sick and that the person shes staying with is threatening to kick her out because she "cant find a place for her cats"

So I wonder. Has she been leaving her dogs in the car for the last week?!

I'm not heartless, I know how hard it is to lose your pets. But am I crazy for thinking that sometimes you have to do things you hate doing to get done what needs to be done?

Anyway....*sigh* sorry just had to vent. I hate having to feel like the bad guy.

Bad planning on her part does not constitute an emergency on your part.
