I told you, they don't sell cigarettes here.

But on a more positive note, I can watch my favourite piece of interpretive mime (which I can't see in Singapore):

PC I take it?

Tap f8 during boot and go into safe mode.
Go to start > run
Type 'msconfig' and hit enter
Tab over to startup
Disable anything that looks useless/malicious (be careful not to kill stuff like you sound software or CD burner or w/e)

One humped camels are much more common that two-humped camels, and neither are closely related to the horse. They are actually closer to a rhino than a horse. However, the two humped camel is native to Mongolia. Also, their meat ain't bad. It isn't that bizarre to see it for sale in parts of the Middle-East, Africa, and parts of Asia - including Mongolia.

I knew what you meant, I just couldn't resist a misinterpretation given that I was ranting about ciggies.

I know you knew that too, so you get a point for an 'assist'.

I haven't tried camel meat but horse was on the menu today.

I already knew this. Except the Rhino thing, that's cool.

And it is bizarre to see it for sale in parts of the Middle East because it's much more valuable as a means of transport or sport (racing).
Wherein Mongolia they don't really use their 2 humped version for much and so it's occasionally eaten.

Are these points redeemable?

Oh cool, I've always wanted to try horse meat. Pity I wasn't in the UK earlier this year I could have had it in a lasagna.
Very lean I imagine.

And for those that are grossed out at the idea of eating horse meat, when in rome..
It's part of their culture and what better way to experience foreign culture than to dive right in and taste it first hand..

RE: Ranting corner
I've had horse - it is quite lean and fairly tasty. I think I would enjoy the taste of camel meat. It's a working animal so I'm thinking certain cuts would be texturally better than others.

Interestingly, Australia is being overrun with feral camels - it's become quite a problem. I think if you went there and hunted down your own and had a cook out , it would be just fine with them. Shy

"feral camels" Laughat

I could try gator and kangaroo while I'm over there.

There's nothing interesting to eat here. We only have native birds and they're all endangered.
In saying that I have had deer several times (yum), though deer isn't really as strange as camel or horse and I've had emu which was pretty good.
