It really is. The favourite phrase of the last few months has been "Hobbitgirl can do it" or the variation "Hobbitgirl, can you do it(insert name) wont let me"

We also went 3 weeks without a supervisor. THAT was fun.

yes, it is tiring growing a whole nother human inside of you. Yes I remember that feeling....you could take four naps a day and still be tired. That will change in the 2T.

As for the job--if they depend on you that much, you need a raise....or that supervisor position so you can tell them all to go 'suck it!'

RE: Ranting corner
Okay, so I'm just sitting here, browsing the forum and reading stories on Notalwaysright.com when I begin to hear a strange noise form outside.

It almost sounds like a very sick cat intermittently meowing.

I exist my room and halfway down the hallway I hear it again, but my clearer this time: it's clucking.

Somebody in my area owns chickens, a fact which I had forgotten till now.

CHICKENS! In the centre of suburbia, somebody has got a god-damned bunch of chickens, and their clucking this morning is annoying me to no end!
Why on earth do they have chickens here anyway?!

The people closely associated with the namesake of female canines are suffering from a nondescript form of lunacy.

Could be the reason, but it seems like maintaining chickens might just be a tad more expensive than buying eggs...

In general the idea of owning chickens in this sort of place strikes me as odd.

Cheaper than trying to source free-range all natural chickens and eggs. Chickens are actually a very easy food source to to for suburban people.

Hmm, I wonder.... do they have a rooster ? I'm not 100% sure, but I dont think chickens will lay eggs without a rooster in the yard.

I got 4 of the bastards around me, and you think clucking is bad ? wait till you hear these guys get going at dawn. Blink

Unless they've taught their cock to cluck, not crow, I do not think so.

Some freaking hipsters I used to live by had chickens in an apartment... Dodgy

My neighbors now have chickens, but they have land and are rednecks.

Always had a couple around in my neighborhood. I was lucky enough though to have double pane windows Tongue

RE: Ranting corner
The roosters realy dont bother me in the house, and when I'm on the porch, its kind of nice/funny.

I live in the country and may look like an old redneck, but I'm not, I'm just a old retired mechanic/biker. Blush

I cant have any livestock, as they would all be my pets and I couldnt kill them to save my ass. Which is really strange because I've shot people before and had very little feeling about it, yet watching an animal get slaughtered makes my stomach turn.

Yet I enjoy eating meat, man, I'm really an enigma, even to myself.
