It's my birthday today!



And I have to go to school, naturally this irks me.

I cannot even remember last time I had a birthday off. A day to relax and contemplate the likelihood that I've survived as long as I have. Or sleep. Whichever comes first.

Lol. Cop's are pretty safe here. It's actually a rather nice job. To give you some perspective of how 'safe' it is to be a cop in this country, none of our cops have guns or even carry guns in their cars. They're in locked areas of the police station.
Cops here only just got tazers and even then those are locked in the car.
Being a cop would be better then what he does now. BUT it's the principle that you get a job or whatever BEFORE you move cities... typically. Especially with a baby on the way.

Though your complaint of having to go to school is laughed at. Son, I can't remember the last time I had a somewhat decent birthday. I certainly have never had a birthday cake. The one time I get sick in a year often coincides with my birthday, and when I get sick I mean I get sick. Though even on the years I was not sick I would have to go to school and still got no birthday cake.
And trust me, it wasn't through lack of asking for a birthday cake.
