Taxi Driver

I don't dare rate it because it was allright but not as legendary as every movie-buff says.

Lone Survivor - 7/10

Good action. Very exaggerated for a "based on a true story" movie. The falling scenes were almost comically over the top.

Gravity 10+/10

Best film ever. Those first and last ten minutes are breathtaking.

Man of Tai-Chi

6/10

This movie could have been so much better. The fight scenes were decent, but there was no real story to speak of.

Created on a low budget, this film is a masterpiece in movie making.

I feel so much, and yet I feel nothing.
I am a rock, I am the sky, the birds and the trees and everything beyond.
I am the wind, in the fields in which I roar. I am the water, in which I drown.

This is what I keep hearing. Considering the cast I'm less surprised than when all I knew was that it was a movie based on Legos.

Ender's Game: 6/10

Kinda disappointed they tried to make it into a children's movie. But, kids need good SciFi too, and it is a good story.

The whole time watching though I kept cringing at the inconsistent portrayals of future tech. Watching SciFi has really become a strain for me. I should call Ridley Scott and have a nice long chat with him.

Prisoners: 9/10

Wow! Wife and I almost didn't make it through that one. What an emotional electric chair that movie was. But, it was very well written and acted. Lots of blindsides from the plot for me. Worth the watch, but parents should be forewarned of possible triggers. Film involves creepy child abductors and is very intense.
