Wolf of Wall Street.

Polished performances and well directed etc. but utterly unlikable characters.

The message seemed to be that Murika / capitalism breeds and encourages psychopaths.

Good luck to you.

What a great surprise for a Saturday morning movie.

I too scared to watch it, I'm so critical of bad science in movies that im worried I might destroy my 60" TV in a rage quit.

The science isn't too bad. It does assume an alternative future though where Hubble was moved closer to the ISS to allow servicing missions to it in the aftermath of the Columbia disaster, something NASA actually seriously considered. This is kind of implied by the fact the shuttle is called Explorer, suggesting the shuttle program was continued and a new one built.

The worst bit involves Soyuz landing rockets but get past that and it's not too bad. There's a pivotal scene involving a parachute that's been criticised but a NASA engineer has explained why it's accurate.

I'd recommend watching it. Yes, it's far fetched, but aren't most films? And the big end sequence is absolutely beautiful.

Wolf of Wall Street - It seemed to me that Scorsese left the studio and the children were allowed to run the asylum. Really disliked it.

Bad Words

Full of dark humor that I'm a big fan of. Some of it felt like it was for shock factor alone, but overall, I laughed Big Grin

7/10

The Raid 2.

I give it 10 Fuck Yeah!!!!'s out of 10. A little more dialogue than the first, but holy crap.....the action was awesome.

The Quiet Ones. 6/10

Didn't feel like it ever quite got fully going but it was defo an alright watch and Olivia Cooke looked amazing in it (and the blonde chick wasn't bad either).
