Good action, character development, hilarious at points. This had to be one of Will Smith's best jobs he's done in years, role wise, other than the movie about concussions and the NFL.

Saw Suicide Squad the other day too. Pretty entertaining. That part with Deadshot at the shooting range was hilarious. Never seen such over the top marksmanship.

Definitely agreed. Emptying hundreds of rounds into the same 4 holes like that. Well, bar the first round where he fired into the air going, "Oh come on, I'm a bad guy, do you think they'd give me a loaded weapon?" Bam. "Oh..."

Pixels 3/5 (DVD)

Nice bit of 80s nostalgia and brainless comedy.

Need to think of a witty signature.

War Dogs 3.5/5

Lowered my rating from what it would be, due to false advertising. This was billed as a comedy. It isn't. If you like Lord of War (and I do), you'll love it though. Based on the true story of how two twenty-some year old guys scammed the government on a deal for over 100 million rounds of ammunition for the Afghan army, along with some minor smuggling into Iraq.

Need to think of a witty signature.

Sausage Party (2016)

4/5

Equal parts stupid, funny, and raunchy

Florence Foster Jenkins

Meryl Streep is amazingly off key playing this tone deaf singer. Holy cow, how DID she do it?

Meryl Streep has a nicely trained voice so I can't imagine how hard is must have been to sing as the Jenkins character.

4/5

Also, here is an actual recording of Florence Foster Jenkins from the 1940's just so you know what we're talking about. I give Florence a 10 for confidence and a 1 for talent. Laugh out load

My husband and I were the youngest people there. Everyone else was in their 60's.

I desperately need a mental break. Maybe I'll talk with my man and see if we can swing it. Smile

Allegiant. Way too many plot holes to count. The kind of movie that has you keep screaming at the monitor "Why the fuck are you doing THAT?" Jeff Daniels does a good job but I still want to punch Miles Teller. I also want to punch his character.

2.5/5

Saw Kingsglave in the theater.

9/10

This movie's CG was amazing. This is how all action movies should be. Fucking having real life with CG over top, just make the whole thing CG it's so much better.
I think if Hollywood started doing that with the level of CG this movie had it would be a new era in film equivalent of going from black/white to colour.
