I hope that the world turns, and things get better. But what I hope most of all is that you understand what I mean when I tell you that, even though I do not know you, and even though I may never meet you, laugh with you, cry with you, or kiss you, I love you. Ok, so only part way through, and I was mesmerized by this scene. It had me unsettled, but it's just a couple standing in front of the mirror in the barroom getting ready for bed. Took me a while to notice. Super cool shot!

I haven't seen the movie, but it is billed as a "relationship drama". I would say they are visibly uncomfortable with each other in that shot. Not that I've ever been very good at reading body language, but that's what their body language says to me.

9/10

This movie's CG was amazing. This is how all action movies should be. Fucking having real life with CG over top, just make the whole thing CG it's so much better.
I think if Hollywood started doing that with the level of CG this movie had it would be a new era in film equivalent of going from black/white to colour.

They won't, because they still haven't gotten across the uncanny valley. For all the improvements in animation, lighting, and rendering that have been made, the valley is still an ever present obstacle.
